    Good evening CR's,

Welcome back to JMU from what I hope was a relaxing spring break. Since we met last, John McCain has officially become the Republican nominee for President. While the Democrats continue fighting on in a nasty and negative campaign, it's time to rally around the next President of the United States, John McCain!

Here's an update of events that are taking place this week:
Monday, March 10th - 7:30PM: Weekly Meeting w/ Senator Mark Obenshain in Taylor 400
    Tuesday, March 11th - 10:00AM to 4:00PM: Adopt-A-Platoon Drive on the Commons
Friday, March 14th - Fondue Party at Kathryn's Apartment
Saturday, March 15th - Collecting Petition Signatures for Goodlatte at Valley Mall

If you need details or have questions about any event, e-mail Alyson Young, our secretary, at young2am@jmu.edu.

See you guys around this week!

Winter Break Update from Urbandale, Iowa!
Author: JMU :: Posted: Wed Jan 02, 2008 9:56 pm
    Hey guys,

I just wanted to send a New Year's greeting from Urbandale, IA, where I'm volunteering with Mitt Romney's Iowa Caucus Team. The weather and cold, but the state is buzzing with activity these days.

I hope each of you had a wonderful Holiday season and are ready to come back to campus for another semester. We have a lot of exciting opportunities ahead for College Republicans. We will begin the semester by recruiting new members and welcoming Gov. Jim Gilmore to campus on Jan. 28th.

We'll then have CPAC 2008 in Washington, DC from Feb. 7th until Feb. 9th. If you haven't contacted Leah Sargent about going, please do so. It will be a fantastic event, and our Republican nominee for President will most likely be attendance. (If there is one at that point)

I want to invite anyone who has any thoughts about new ideas for College Republicans to contact myself or any other exec board member to share your ideas. We will never turn down a good idea!

Enjoy the rest of your break,
    Kevin Bolling
    Chairman
